Preventative maintenance is conducted to keep equipment working and extend the life of the equipment. The primary goal of PM is to avoid or mitigate the consequences of equipment failure. PM is designed to preserve equipment reliability. The ideal preventative maintenance program would prevent equipment failure before it occurs.

Preventative maintenance benefits include, but are not limited to:

  • Decreased service expense
  • Decreased replacement equipment expense
  • Increased return on investment
  • Increased equipment utilization

RoomServ Logo_webRoomServ: Manufacturer warranties typically cover the repair or replacement of equipment based on a “return to factory” basis, for a limited period of time. Furthermore, most manufacturer warranties do not cover costs associated with on-site service including but not limited to trouble shooting, testing, travel time/mileage, equipment removal, shipping and/or equipment reinstallation.

There are numerous equipment manufacturers and products, all with vastly different warranty conditions. To provide a consistent level of coverage from one service source, Creative-image technologies developed RoomServ to provide a simplified service program for our customers.

RoomServ is a fixed cost service agreement that is purchased at the same time as the equipment to be covered. RoomServ provides phone support, on-site support, manufacturer warranty management, equipment repair or replacement, travel time, equipment removal and equipment reinstallation. RoomServ coverage can be purchased for 1, 2 or 3 year periods. Pricing varies based on specific equipment.
